Whether in Indiana or San Jose you can tell the author is a sophisticated good old boy wannabe. As we all should be. A nice journey through a geographic journey to return to one's self by choosing to be home. No matter where you are. Nicely paced and easy to enjoy!

I purchased this sweet little book and have thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It’s not a long read, but it is entertaining and informative. The author has managed to create an effective response to much of the hateful rhetoric that is created to divide Americans. Interesting stories, photos, and a thoughtful, endearing narrative make this book a must buy. Buy it, you won’t regret it!

If you enjoy meandering through an amusing, and sometimes outright funny observation book, this is for you. If you are curious and appreciate traveling around this diversity that is America, this is for you. If you are a person who is disillusioned about our nation, then this is definitely for you. Please read it, because you will be encouraged and uplifted by the observations. Kushner is a humorist, travel guide, and a pretty awesome social observer. As someone who majored in sociology, I found this to be a fascinating and highly accurate description of many aspects of our
nation. Overall, a definite must read.
